Introducing DermaSensor For Skin Cancer Screening

A New Era in Skin Cancer Detection Comes to Southern Delaware: Introducing DermaSensor

At Picture Of Wellness LLC in Millsboro, Delaware, we believe in bringing our patients the most innovative health technologies available—and we are proud to introduce the newest addition to our practice: DermaSensor.

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, with nearly 10,000 Americans diagnosed every day. Early detection can make an enormous difference, particularly with melanoma. When melanoma is detected early, the five-year survival rate is approximately 99%.

For me, this mission is deeply personal.

I am an invasive melanoma cancer survivor. I know firsthand that skin cancer is not simply a statistic. Early detection can mean the difference between a frightening diagnosis and a potentially life-threatening disease. That experience is one of the reasons I am so passionate about helping others take a proactive approach to their health.

Meet DermaSensor
DermaSensor is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive technology designed to assist health care providers in evaluating suspicious skin lesions for the possibility of melanoma, basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).

The technology uses advanced spectroscopy and an AI-powered algorithm to analyze the tissue and provide an objective result that can help guide clinical decision-making and determine whether further evaluation by a dermatologist may be appropriate.

In clinical studies, DermaSensor demonstrated 96% sensitivity for detecting the three major types of skin cancer—melanoma, BCC, and SCC.

And importantly, the examination is non-invasive.

Why This Matters:
Too many skin cancers are discovered only after they have progressed.

DermaSensor gives healthcare providers another tool to help identify suspicious lesions that may warrant further evaluation. It does not replace a dermatologist, biopsy, or pathological diagnosis. Instead, it provides additional objective information to help guide the next step in care.

At Picture Of Wellness LLC, our goal isn't simply to offer the latest technology.

Our goal is to help save lives.

As a melanoma survivor, bringing this technology to Southern Delaware is more than a professional accomplishment for me—it is personal. I want people to have access to innovative tools that can help identify potentially dangerous skin lesions earlier and encourage appropriate follow-up when it matters most.

Your skin is telling you a story. Let's make sure we're listening.

If you have a suspicious skin lesion or a spot that concerns you, make an appointment today for a DermaSensor scan.
